The Middle East community of practice was established in June 2007 to enable like-minded professionals to regularly meet to share best practices in project, programme and portfolio management.
The next meeting of the community of practice is on 11th January 2010 in Abu Dhabi with its conference on focusing project, programme and portfolio risk and quality management and associated professional development.
If you’d like to adopt, share or shape the best practice methods, then this conference is for you. And it’s all free, since it is run by members for members.

Conference Details
The 1-day conference includes a mixture of plenary sessions, seminars, workshops and panel debate.
There is a parallel track of ‘introductory’ and ‘advanced’ seminars and workshops so that the conference is of interest to those new to project, programme and portfolio management and to those who are experienced professionals. The parallel streams contain case-study materials from a real-life implementation.
Sessions include:
- Benefits Management
- Update on the Rollout of the new version of PRINCE2 (released June 2009)
- 'Ask the expert' panel debate
- Raffle
